Instead of relying on ingredient lists, we worked with independent toxicologists to evaluate the final products you use on your scalp and skin. Each formula was analyzed for endocrine activity, carcinogenicity, bioaccumulation, and biodegradability using internationally recognized OECD methods. All products passed: no known endocrine disruptors, no carcinogens, low environmental persistence, and full biodegradability within 28 days. Under Your Skin was founded in Sweden by Lovisa and her mother, Christina, driven by a shared passion for creating beauty products that are gentle on both the body and the environment. Their journey began when Lovisa developed a hormonal imbalance in her 20s, which prompted them to take a closer look at the harsh, synthetic ingredients in everyday cosmetics.



Determined to find a better way, they set out to craft solutions that blend the power of nature with science, while celebrating the beauty of Sweden’s pristine landscapes. What started as a mission to rid cosmetics of harsh chemicals has since grown into one of Sweden's fastest-growing beauty brands.

At Under Your Skin, we are dedicated to reducing our environmental impact and creating products that reflect our commitment to sustainability. Inspired by the nature we interact with every day, we source ingredients as close as possible to our manufacturing in Sweden to minimize our carbon footprint.


Our products are independently tested by external toxicologists and undergo dermatological testing to ensure safety and quality.
